For too long seafarers have been afraid of testing lifesaving appliances as required by the rules, simply because these trials have caused far more fatalities and injuries to people than they have saved lives.

Nadiro was founded in June 2009 as a result of innovative thinking and a drive to improve lifesaving equipment at sea. A series of very safe technologies were developed by competent seafarers and engineers who felt an obligation to raise the maritime safety level for their colleagues at sea.

As a result new Nadiro products are now available including the "Boat-In-A-Box" davit, the "Drop-In-Ball" hook system, and "Brake-In-A-Box" winch. Our products are available for newbuildings and retrofit in the offshore and marine segments.

A new lifeboat launching system and a drop-in-ball technology was developed by competent seafarers together with engineers and naval architects who felt an obligation to raise the maritime safety level for their colleagues at sea.

This development effort has so far resulted in a number of product & safety awards, international patents, trademarks, and a number of design registrations.
