Nadiro ready to conquer the Arctics
In February, Nadiro presented the world’s safest arctic life saving system at the ATC2011 Arctic Conference in Houston.
– Our complete concept has developed in collaboration with industry partners, end-customers and yards. We’ve taken all aspects of evacuation philosophy, ship design, integration and operation into account, which makes our Boat-In-A-Box davit perfect for arctic conditions, says Esben Juul Sørensen, Managing Director, Nadiro.
The Nadiro solution is made as an upgrade to the Boat-In-A-Box davit and Drop-In-Ball system, included with all Nadiro safety features. The Nadiro arctic system is approved by ABS and USCG and is the world's safest arctic lifesaving system.
Apart from exhibiting at The ATC2011 Arctic Conference, Nadiro also contributed as author of trade paper "Enhanced Arctic Lifeboat Design and Operation", which was presented along with Transocean, DNV, and German lifeboat manufacturer Fassmer.
