In 2008, Senior General Manager at Maersk Drilling, Mr. Bent Nielsen, presented the idea of a new and safer way to launch lifeboats to the Maersk Innovation Board.

Little did he know that this idea would revolutionise global maritime safety legislations for seafarers around the world.

Mr. Bent Nielsen’s idea laid the foundation of Nadiro, which was established in Denmark in 2009. The company’s two significant shareholders, A.P.Moller-Maersk and SH Group, ensure financial strength and access to cutting edge knowledge and expertise.

Nadiro’s systems include the Boat-In-A-Box™ davit systems and the unique Drop-In-Ball™ hook systems for lifeboats and rescue boats.

Our systems are compliant with MED, USCG and NORSOK R-002 standards as well as the EU Machinery Directive.

When using Nadiro systems, you are guaranteed products which comply with the highest safety levels for lifeboat and rescue boat systems.

Nadiro is based in the Danish seaport city of Svendborg, framing all of Nadiro's departments from management, technology, sales and our IS-9001 certified production in one location.
